Don't be confuse if you can't change your html code in sharepoint designer. By default, sharepoint designer marking some of html code with yellow mark, and it's read only. 

You can still change the html code if you activating an advanced mode.

1. Click Home Menu

2. Click Advanced Mode

3. You can work without yellow mark.
